LOS ANGELES TRIP 2024

A select group of 12 Business of Entertainment Club members got the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles for the weekend for a networking and professional career building experience. Our first stop upon arrival to Los Angeles was to Universal Studios for the full VIP Experience. Through this, we got the opportunity to explore the studio lot in an exclusive tour, being able to set foot onto the real life sets seen in so many of our favorite films and tv shows! We also got to have some leisure time exploring the park and all it has to offer including rides, attractions, food, and merchandise. We explored some history and learned so much at both the Grammy Museum and the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum. The Grammy Museum had interactive booths and activities that showed the impact iconic legends had on the music industry. The Academy of Motion Pictures Museum highlighted so many famous actors, directors, and producers that bring to life the beauty of film making. The group got to meet up on UCLA campus for the first annual UCLA/USC/UOFA Mixer Event! We had a great time connecting with fellow college students who have similar aspirations of pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. To conclude our trip, we hosted our annual alumni mixer at a nearby park. This is always the highlight of our trip as we get to speak with professionals in the industry who were once in our shoes.
